In 2017, the Seabees will celebrate their 75th anniversary and the Civil Engineer Corps will celebrate its 150th anniversary. To commemorate these milestones, the CEC/Seabee Historical Foundation is embarking on a $10 million Diamond Anniversary Campaign to install major new exhibits at the U.S. Navy Seabee Museum in Port Hueneme, CA, and to spark public interest in the accomplishments of the Seabees and CEC.

The Impact of Your Gift

Your gift will make a tangible difference in maintaining the legacy of the U.S. Navy Seabees. You’ll help create major new exhibits and displays and restore important artifacts that show what the “Can Do” spirit of the Seabees really means.

The campaign will showcase the rich history and contributions the Seabees have made to active duty military, military veterans, their families, and others whose lives have been impacted by their feats including the construction industry that benefits from their skills as well as the general public.

“We Build, We Fight” Diamond Anniversary Painting

“WE BUILD, WE FIGHT” was created in celebration of the 75th Anniversary of the U.S. Navy Seabees occuring 5 March, 2017 and is dedicated to all Seabees and Civil Engineer Corps officers past, present, and future. The original oil painting by James Dietz will be dedicated during the 75th Anniversary celebrations and will be permanently on display at the Seabee Museum in Pt. Hueneme, California.
